The Paper Dolls by Julia Donaldson

 

Meet Ticky, Tacky, Jackie the Backie, Jim with two noses and Jo with the bow – a string of paper dolls made by an imaginative little girl.

Together they go on a fantastical adventure through the house and out into the garden, escaping the clutches of a toy dinosaur and the snapping jaws of an oven-glove crocodile. All is well until a little boy with a very real pair of scissors comes along…

 

The Paper Dolls is a story of childhood, memory and the power of imagination.
