Before School Club

Our Before School Club runs every day before school from 7.30am until 8.35am. The club is fully supervised, providing a safe and fun start to the day which includes indoor activities and games. Children are welcome to bring their own breakfast with them. Each session will cost £5.

After School Club

Our After School Club runs daily until 5.30pm. The children are encouraged to have fun and relax after a busy day at school, through play-based activities. We start the session with a healthy snack and a drink for the children. Sessions cost £7.

Running the Before & After School Club is great fun, the children are a joy to look after. We are so lucky to have an amazing field and play equipment to use on sunny days.

Feedback from parents

I just wanted to provide some feedback on your breakfast and afterschool club

My two children, one is in Year R and the other is in Year 2 started in your Breakfast and Afterschool club just over a month ago.  As parents we were concerned that the move from their previous before and after school provision in addition to one of them starting school and the other moving to a new class would be a significant change for them. 

From the outset Mrs Woodings and Catherington Infant School were very accommodating and reassuring to talk to us to explain and show us what the provision at the school looked like which helped us to make the decision to change.  From the first session, both children always talk about how they love the breakfast and afterschool club and more recently they have asked to go in an extra morning as they said there is so much to do even ‘musical statutes before school if we have time’.  The calming, structured, interactive and professionalism shown by Gill and Elisha has led to the transition into the new setting by our children to be seamless.   

We also feel the breakfast club sets the children up for the day of learning ahead given the right atmosphere it projects.  It is lovely to see the children outside playing (weather permitting) in addition to a plethora of toys, crafts, games something different all the time to suit all ages and personalities.  The booking process and ability to use childcare vouchers is another positive along with the flexibility in provision.   

We cannot thank you enough for starting a wonderful provision especially for us as working parents, thank you Catherington School Club!

Thank you for everything you have done to support my daughter and us to this point. My daughter is really looking forward to being with you again this half term.
