LINKS WITH THE LOCAL AREA
November 2020
A few weeks ago a local resident contacted our school with a problem. In his garden he had an owl carved from a tree stump but it had no name. He wanted the children in our school to name his owl. After a lot of talking and voting, each class came up with a name for the owl. We shared these and one name was chosen by the local resident. The winning name is............. HOOTY. Well done Seahorse class!
A plaque is being made in the next few weeks with the owl’s name and our school name on. We will let you know when it has been made.
If you would like to see the beautiful owl use the powerpoint below to find you way from our school.
