Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
As part of World Book Day, we were very lucky to receive a visit from the children’s author Neal Layton. He spent the whole afternoon sharing his stories with us. Thank you Neal we have had an enjoyable afternoon.
A huge thank you to Peter and Margaret Bone for organising it all for us.
In celebration worship, we noticed that our Star of the Week badges were packaged in small, individually wrapped plastic bags. It was suggested that we could write a letter to the company to explain why these bags are not good for our environment. Yesterday, Elliott decided he wanted to do something about these plastic bags and so he wrote this letter independently.
We are all so incredibly proud of you Elliott for not only writing an amazing letter, all on your own, but for caring enough about the environment to take action.
It was great to see so many parents on Thursday for the reading workshop. Your children loved showing you how good they are at sounding out words and reading sentences.
If you couldn’t make it or had some questions then please come and have a chat with me.

Today we remembered the Jewish people that were treated badly by the Nazi's many years ago because they were different. We reflected on why it is important to show respect to everyone regardless of their colour, race or religion. We talked about the courage of the Jewish people and the love and kindness they showed each other during this very difficult time.
We have made a promise to always show love, kindness and respect to each other. We believe we can make the world a better place, one person at a time.
The Seahorse class loved their Christmas Party!
They played lots of games including pass-the-parcel and musical statues; I was very impressed with the Seahorses’ dance moves. Thank you to all who contributed to our party - we are most grateful!
Happy Christmas and we’ll see you in the new year 2020!
We were all sooooo excited today when Father Christmas came to see us all at school. He landed his sleigh in the morning and set up in our Lodge. We each took turns to visit him and tell him what we would like for Christmas and we were very lucky to get a special present.
Thank you for coming to see us Father Christmas
