Mental Health and Wellbeing Parents Meeting

It was lovely to see some parents at this meeting.

The meeting was an introduction to TRICKBOX, we are using this programme in school to support the mental health and wellbeing of your chidren. If you were unable to attend the meeting and would like to know more about TRICKBOX then have a look at the power point on the Mental Health and Wellbeing section of this website. You can find it under the key information section. In TRICKBOX time children are taught a series of  'tricks' to help them deal with everyday situations. These tricks are printed on cards and used throughout the school.

If you would like to purchase a box of TRICKBOX cards to use with your child at home Mrs Anderson will be selling them for £5 in the office.

  • Working towards one goal for the greater good🐘🌟

    Fri 17 May 2019
WOW! What a brilliant week. The children have truly been courageous advocates this week by spreading the word about TUSK. A huge thank you to everyone that has donated to this wonderful cause. This week alone we have raised £179.85! We will continue to raise money throughout the year as we are currently talking to the charity about how it will be spent. Here is a photo of all the children showing that we are all different but together we are amazing!

Thank you for all your support so far with TUSK week. It’s a charity we feel very passionate about as a school and therefore we aim to raise as much money as possible! Any further donations will be very greatly received and will make a huge difference to the charity.
  • Mosaic Cross

    Sat 11 May 2019

The mosaic cross is really starting to take shape now and is looking beautiful. It has been a real privilege to be part of this art project, one that will remain an important part of the school for many years to come.  Everyone at Catherington has placed a tile on the cross, I know where mine is!  Your child will be able to show you their contribution when it is mounted on the wall at the front of the school. The cross will be in the blue lodge this week, why not go and have a look.
