Week 2

DT

In DT this half term we are doing food technology. We are making yogurt deserts to celebrate the King. We are going to use British fruit and yoghurt. Today, we practised cutting fruit using three different methods: claw, fork and bridge. 🍎🍓🫐

Science 🌿 Today, we planted some seeds and talked about how they would grow. The children then placed their seeds in a space that they thought would help their seed grow the tallest. Fingers crossed we get some sunshine now! ☀️

This half term, in Science, we are learning about plants. 🌿 This week we have learnt about seeds and bulbs.

Maths

In Maths this week we have been working on number problems, focusing on addition and subtraction.
