Who's Who

SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Headteacher

Designated safeguarding lead, SENDCo and designated teacher.

Mrs Burden

I joined Catherington in April 2018 as the Year R teacher and really enjoyed teaching children in their first year of school. I love thinking up exciting learning experiences for the children I teach.

In May 2022 I became the Head teacher at Catherington.

At home I am kept very busy with my own 2 children. We enjoy spending time together riding bikes and visiting lots of places. I also enjoy going swimming when I can.

I love to think outside the box and make learning fun and purposeful. When i'm not at school I like going on days out with my family geocaching, exploring new places and playing games. I love going to the theatre and belong to two amateur dramatic societies.

Senior Admin Officer and DDSL

Mrs Anderson

I have worked at Catherington since October 2016. I really enjoy my role and I love the fact that you never know what the day may bring! The children are great and a pleasure to be around. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and enjoy walking our two sprocker dogs, Lola and Lottie.

TEACHERS

Mrs Weight - Year 1

I absolutely love being a class teacher at Catherinton Infant School; it’s such a wonderful place to work.  Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family, Nigel (my husband), Harry (my son), Felicity (my daughter) and our crazy Cockerpoo dog Reggie who has an endless amount of energy.

Mrs Reeve - Year 1

Since teaching at Catherington,  I have loved every minute of it! Outside of school I spend my time with my three beautiful children (Teddy, Beau and Jesse). We spend most of time outdoors or being creative!

Mrs Fennell - Year R

I love teaching at Catherington Infant School. Every day feels like a new adventure, and working with such kind and enthusiastic children and adults is a real privilege.

When I'm not at school you'll either find me somewhere outside getting muddy with my two children or curled up indoors with a good book and a cup of tea.

Teaching Assistants

Mrs White

Mrs White really enjoys working with the children at Catherington, but when she isn’t at school she likes going to the beach, watching musicals at the theatre and spending time with her partner and children. She loves all things Disney, snow leopards and dinosaurs!

Miss Watts- Higher Level Teaching Assistant

I really enjoy being part of the children's first introduction to school, seeing them make new friends and begin their learning journey.  Outside of school I love baking and going to the theatre.

Miss Willett

I really love being part of the children's learning in the Dolphins classroom.

Outside of school my weekends are mainly sat on the side line watching my football mad daughter Elsie playing for her league team along with my son Carter.

Andy Goodall

I joined Catherington in 2020 and I thoroughly enjoy being part of this friendly infant school.

I am a big fan of all sports, especially Formula One motor racing and enjoy playing golf when I can.

Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants

Mrs Barker

I have worked at Catherington for many years as a lunch time supervisor, cleaner and gardener.  I have seen lots of little people come and go.  I love working with children because every day is different.

I also now work with Mrs Vigus running the after school club.

Mrs Vigus

I joined Catherington in May 2024. I really enjoy my roles as Lunchtime Supervisor and After School Club Assistant, watching the children playing with their friends. I am excited to start another role at school as a Teaching Assistant soon and look forward to being involved in the children's learning.

Outside of school life, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and husband. We love walking and holidays.

Mrs Fields

I joined Catherington Infant School in 2021, and I love working with children at lunchtime. Prompting positive behaviour and good manners while the children enjoy some social time with their friends.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my four children and six grandchildren. We love nothing more than all getting together and enjoying a lovely meal with each other.
