Week 2
This was our first full week in Oak Class and we had so much fun!
We're getting really good at finding a funky fingers activity to settle down to after signing up for hot dinners in the morning. These activities strengthen our fingers, wrists, hands, elbows, arms and shoulders ready for writing.
In phonics we learned the graphemes s, a, t & p and played games to help us remember them. We even practised writing these graphemes on whiteboards.
In maths we sorted animals according to how many legs they have, counted to 10 and back, read lots of counting stories, found numbers on the playground and played What's the Time, Mr Wolf.
We loved having a go at dough disco on Friday and ended the week with the bikes and trikes. Time for a rest!
