During our final week of this half term, we spent lots of time thinking about numbers. We sang about Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer and wondered about how they could fit a sixth little man in their spaceship. We used die frames and counters to explore how many different ways we could fit six or seven aliens in the seats.

In our RE lessons we considered the concept of Change. We talked about how everyone grows and changes throughout their lives and shared changes we've been through that have made us feel happy and sad. We learnt about how Jesus changed as he aged and listened to stories about how He changed the lives of others. We wrote cards from some of the people in the stories to say thank you to Jesus for helping us.

In music we made music to celebrate Lunar New Year. We played lots of different instruments in groups and had to watch a dragon so that we knew when to play and when to stop. It was noisy and fun!

In Discovery Time, we surveyed people to find out what their favourite medieval object is, enjoyed writing anywhere and everywhere (very chalky!), matched phrases to pictures and enjoyed playing with our friends on 'Love what you wear' day.
