We ended this half term with another week full of exciting learning. We all learned how to use the woodwork area safely, and some of us had our first go at making something using a hammer and nails. 
In RE we thought about the concept of 'special'. We thought about how special we all are as well as learning about some things that are special to Christians. We drew our own self portraits which are now on display in our classroom.

We really enjoyed painting our salt dough leaves. We thought carefully about what colours we should use and decided to stick to orange, yellow, brown and red to match the colours of Autumn.

In maths we subitised sounds and rearranged blocks to show the number 4 in lots of different ways.

Throughout the week we thought a lot about litter. We learned about different types of rubbish and thought about which bin we should put different materials in. We made posters to remind people not to drop litter and displayed them in our room and around the school.
