This week we performed our Nativity to our families and friends. We all showed so much courage and really enjoyed performing on the stage.

As part of our light and dark topic, we found out about a special Hindu celebration called Diwali. We learned all about how Hindus celebrate during this special time and made our own shadow puppets and Rangoli patterns.

In maths we have been investigating the concept of 'equal'. We used Numicon, flip counters, multilink cubes and building blocks to explore equal amounts.

In PSHE we talked about kindness. We read a story and then took it in turns to tell Harold some positive things. Some of us made Harold some pictures and gifts, too.

One of the most exciting things we did this week was decorating our classroom! We all helped to put tinsel, lights and baubles on the tree, made paper chains and decorated little stars to take home. Christmas is on its way!
