This week we have been working so hard, especially with out art work. We are working towards our final piece and this week we practised printing. These will eventually become amazing planets ☄️
In English this week we wrote letters pretending to be a character called HAM. This was inspired from our text space chips. We focused on questions and capital letters.
In Maths we have been learning about halves and quarters of shapes. We have been cutting and sorting all sorts of 2d shapes.

This week we have been writing instructions all about how to get space. We have been using contractions, questions and bossy words. They were all super and some are on display in the library.
In maths we have been learning how to tell the time to o clock and half past. We have also been learning how many minutes are in 1 hour and half an hour.

This week we have worked so hard, in English we have been writing stories and they are amazing! I was so proud that the Turtles were using everything they have learnt so far. In Maths this week we have been learning about tens and ones, we have been using lots of resources to help us.
In Science we have completed our experiment with materials and we have all tried to make something on paint in computing.
It was so lovely meeting the grandparents too, a super week Turtles!
Another lovely week with the Turtles, we have been so busy! After reading the book The man the moon, we wrote postcards from Bob to his friends. They were brilliant! We focused on asking questions and using the question mark the right way round!
In Maths this week we have been partitioning ten and learning the number bond song, have you been hearing this at home?
