Head Teacher- Mrs Burden

This week some of year two went to spend some time with the residents at Pear Tree Court. They enjoyed completing some activities with the older people and showed a great deal of Love and Respect.

Year two also performed a class assembly to their parents this week. They spoke really clearly and confidently about the things they have been learning.

Also this week, the year one children performed their fabulous spring show. It was amazing to see how courageous and confident they were on the stage. We are all so proud of them.

Today we had a bouldering wall installed on the playground for the children to use during lunchtime and playtime. Improvements to the playground is the final phase of our outdoor improvements plan which began in May 2023. It has included the creation of the Forest School area, the chicken house 'Cluckingham palace' and the trim trail.

A huge thank you to the PTA for all of the funds they have raised through their exciting events for the children, which have paid for these wonderful improvements.

Without the support of the PTA and parents who donate to their events we would not be able to make these improvements.

Please do not let younger siblings play on the bouldering wall at any time. This is for the children at school only.

Rocksteady Concert

Today the children who have been learning an instrument on Fridays in their Rocksteady lessons performed a concert for their parents.

They were amazing and showed so much courage. A huge thank you to Aiden their Rocksteady band leader.

School Values Award

Congratulations to Jacob, Laura, Poppy and Aelan who received certificates today.

If you feel your child has demonstrated one of our three school values, Love, Courage or Respect this half term, at home or when out and about please email the office and let us know all about it and I will celebrate it at school.

Your child can be awarded as many Values certificates as you like throughout the year.

Values certificates are presented to children every Friday during celebration worship.
