Head Teacher- Mrs Burden

It is amazing to think that half term marks half way through the school year! It feels like only yesterday we were welcoming the children in to their new classes after the summer holidays.

The last 2 weeks have been extremely busy. Here is a few things the children have been up to:

This week Hazel class had a great time during Forest school searching for worms and cooking marshmallows on the fire.

Also this week Oak class have been learning about colour mixing. They made some great paintings by mixing red, blue and yellow.

I hope all the Catherington families have a wonderful half term.

Children in Reception to Year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals (FSM) can enjoy a variety of fun activities and healthy meals for free during the half-term break, courtesy of Hampshire County Council’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.

Funded by the Department for Education, the programme enables local authorities to offer healthy food and enriching holiday activities to children who would normally receive benefit-related FSM during term time. A limited number of discretionary places are also available for other vulnerable families.

We are now inviting eligible families to book their free place at our half term holiday clubs. Information about available schemes and booking instructions can be found on our Family Information and Services Hub (FISH), using the link below:
