Head Teacher- Mrs Burden

Last Year 2 were really enjoying learning safe ways to prepare fruits and vegetables as part of their Design and Technology unit.

This week they have been exploring different ingredients by tasting them, which they could use in their designs.

There were definitely some ingredients which were not popular!

Also this week Year 1 have started having a mid morning snack like they used to in year R. It is really helping them concentrate in the mornings. Thank you to their parents who have donated items.

During computing this week they were using iPads to design and draw pictures.

Children in Reception to Year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals (FSM) can enjoy a variety of fun activities and healthy meals for free during the half-term break, courtesy of Hampshire County Council’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.

Funded by the Department for Education, the programme enables local authorities to offer healthy food and enriching holiday activities to children who would normally receive benefit-related FSM during term time. A limited number of discretionary places are also available for other vulnerable families.

We are now inviting eligible families to book their free place at our half term holiday clubs. Information about available schemes and booking instructions can be found on our Family Information and Services Hub (FISH), using the link below:
