After signing up to Oxford Owl, you can have free access to hundreds of e-books that can be chosen to suit age, book band colour or phonic level. These stories can be read to the child or by the child and offers comprehension activities for each book. The site also offers a range of differentiated phonic and spelling activities for Year 1 and Year 2 children.

After creating a free account, Classroom Secrets offers a range of different games and quizzes to help support reading comprehension, spellings and grammar and punctuation for Years 1 and 2. Year 1 children can also access a range of different phonic activities and games.
