Spring 1 2019

We have been so busy this week practicing for our assembly, building a new role play area and learning about the Hindu God Krishna.

After half term we will be starting a new topic all about the woods. We built a woodland roleplay this week ready for our new learning.

We listened to the story about Krishna’s birth and learnt why and how Hindu’s celebrate this.

We hope you enjoyed our class assembly. Mrs Burden and Mrs Searle were very proud of us.

Look out for the next 2 week challenge on tapestry. Have a lovely half term everyone.

Today was internet safety day. We learnt how to keep ourselves safe when using the internet.

1. Don’t tell anyone our names.

2. Don’t talk to anyone we don’t know.

3. Always check with an adult if there is something we are not sure about online.

Then we had some fun trying out some online games using iPads, laptops and computer.

Also this week in Maths we have been finding 1 less than any number to 10 or 20. We had to help the 3 little pigs sort their washing because the wolf kept blowing it away. Then the pigs needed a healthy lunch but the wolf kept coming to steal their food. That naughty wolf!! In discovery time some of us tried to build a trap for him!!

Trick Box

Trick Box 1

Say hello to Drew.

Drew has come to help us think about how amazing we all are and teach us what to do when we are finding things tricky. Look out for Drew updates each week.

Home Challenge

The 2 week home challenge this week was about being independent and showing an understanding of healthy eating. Well done for those children who have already completed it.
